What is the scope of Portfolio Management Services offered by CRESCITA?
Under Portfolio Management Services (PMS), we professionally manage the equity investment portfolio of our valued clients. The ownership of the securities rests entirely with the investor. We function in the role of a fiduciary.
What are the formalities to start a PMS account?
PMS provider and investor will sign an agreement. PMS provider facilitates the opening of demat and cash accounts for the investor with the Custodians. After account activation, the investor may either issue a cheque for the investments or transfer securities from his/her existing demat account in equivalent value or a combination of both modes.
Which is the regulatory body that governs Portfolio Management Services in India?
Portfolio Management Services is completely supervised by SEBI, the regulator of capital markets in India.
What is the minimum investment amount required to invest with CRESCITA?
The minimum investible amount is INR 50 Lacs.
Is PAN card mandatory for availing Portfolio Management Services?
PAN card is mandatory for all capital market transactions.
Is day trading permitted under the Portfolio Management Service?
SEBI guidelines forbid any day trading activity by Portfolio Managers.

What are the risks associated with PMS investments?
Investing in equity inherently involves a high degree of risk, including a possible depletion of the capital amount invested. Besides other factors, the risk varies depending on the type of security. For example, by investing in small-cap companies, an investor might assume a higher degree of risk than by investments in large-cap companies.
What is the tax treatment in PMS investment?
The tax liability of a PMS investor would be the same as if the investor accessed capital market directly i.e. buying shares of listed companies. It is advisable for the investor to consult his/her tax advisor for the tax related matters. The Portfolio Manager would provide an audited statement of accounts at the end of the financial year.
Who is eligible to invest in Portfolio Management Services?
The following are eligible to invest:
- Minimum investible surplus of Rs 50 lacs.
- Suited for individuals comprising high net worth individuals (HNIs) and UHNIs, sole proprietorship concerns, partnership firms, Limited liability partnerships, One person companies, NRIs, HUFs, Association of Persons (AOPs), trusts, family offices, corporate entities, institutions and companies.
What are the types of Portfolio Management Services?
There are two types of PMS – discretionary and non-discretionary.
- Discretionary: The portfolio manager independently manages the client funds as per the investment philosophy.
- Non Discretionary: The portfolio manager manages the portfolio as per client specific directives and investing preferences.

How do I close my PMS account?
To close your PMS account, please inform us through an email or by post. In the event of a full withdrawal of investments, kindly allow us up to 2 weeks’ time for orderly trimming of your stock holdings.
